5th Annual Bike to Work Day Event

Join Smart Commute Markham, Richmond Hill at our 5th Annual Bike to work Day Event! The 6 km group ride around the Hwy. 7 and Leslie corridor (map) is an excellent chance to discover how cycling to work, even occasionally, can save you money,  improve traffic congestion, air quality and your overall health.  
Live too great of a distance to make biking to work or our event feasible? Come out to show your support for those who can by transporting your bike to the event.

Time: 7:30 to 9:30 am

(Start) MMM Group: 100 Commerce Valley Dr. West. Markham
(Water break) HDR: 100 York Blvd., Richmond Hill
(End)MMM Group: 100 Commerce Valley Dr. West, Markham 
This FREE event includes:
- Group ride escorted by York Regional Police 
- Continental breakfast 
- Bike tune-ups
- YRT bus bike rack demo
- A chance for a Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College consultation
- A chance to WIN prizes including a new bike 
Register by Friday, May 25th at 12 p.m. (noon) by providing your name, company and email address via email to b2wd@smartcommutemrh.ca. 
You can also participate by taking the Bike to Work pledge!
For a chance to win one of two great prizes – a trip for two to Quebec City courtesy of VIA Rail, or a weekend cycling getaway to St. Catharines courtesy of Welcome Cyclists, pledge to:
Ride to work or school on May 28, 2012;
Tell a co-worker or friend about Bike to Work Day and send them a link to this form; or
Assist a new rider in finding a route to school or work.
Contest closes at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, June 1.

- Stretching, mobilization and soft tissue therapy with the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College
- A chance to WIN prizes including a Trek 7.0 FX bike ($430 value) from Evolution Cycles courtesy of Smart Commute MRH!
